Our Commitment to
Serve All Customers

Mulmer Service Ltd. is wholly committed to excellence in serving all customers including people with disabilities.

 

Assistive Devices
  • We will ensure that all staff operating vehicles equipped with assistive devices (e.g. a wheelchair lift) are well trained and familiar with said device

  • MSL encourages the use of personal assistive devices (e.g. walkers, canes, oxygen tanks) on our vehicles

  • It is our commitment to provide accessible transportation to all customers regardless of physical ability.

Communication
  • We will make certain that our staff are able to communicate with people with disabilities in a way that takes into account a multitude of barriers, using both oral communication and written communication

  • All official MSL signage is visible and readable

  • Our website is accessible and legible

  • Appropriate signage is visible on all wheel-chair designated buses

 

Support Persons

MSL encourages the presence of a support worker or aid to accompany all persons with disabilities on our vehicles

 

Staff and Training

All staff training includes:

  • An overview of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 and the customer service standard

  • Our commitment to provide accessible customer service, including where this is included in our policy and procedure manual 

  • Information on how to interact and communicate with persons with disabilities

  • Training on the use of assistive devices
